Helping A Bride Photograph Her Wedding on Folly Beach
Capturing sweet moments for bride and longtime friend to energize and celebrate her special day
One of my longtime friends from the College of Charleston got married on Folly Beach, and I was thrilled to be part of her wedding and have the opportunity to capture a few special moments on her special day.
Annemarie came to me a few months ago worried that she wouldnβt have photos of the bridal party getting ready, or her sparkler exit at the end of the night. Her official wedding photographer was only booked for a few hours in the middle of the day.
I asked her about her vision and what style of photographs she hoped for. On the day of the wedding, we had some rain showers roll through. While it showered outside, the girls were busy laughing, jumping on the bed, fixing our hair, snacking on sushi, and dancing to our favorite songs on full blast!
Luckily, the rain passed and we were blessed with a beautiful evening and sunset celebration on the waterβs edge. As night fell, I mentally prepared for the grand sparkler exit. Everything went off without a hitch and I was so pleased to share the final results with my friend!
A few kind words from Annemarie:
βI loved being able to share this experience with Amy! Amyβs been a part of my life for 14 years and it seemed only fitting that she was there with me on such a momentous occasion. Her gift for photography shone through that day and she energized all of us and made the day that much more special.β

βAmy and I have been friends for a long time and over that period I have had the opportunity to see her blossom as a photographer and hone her craft. She has been able to take a passion and turn it into a business which is incredible. So when it came time to find the right person to capture these special moments there was no one else I would have chosen.β
