Romantic, Laidback Folly Beach Engagement

I had the honor of capturing part of Jyl and Collin’s love story on Folly Beach. For their engagement portraits, Collin and Jyl were looking for a sweet, fun, romantic and laidback vibe.
We started the session with a delicious treat on the Folly Beach pier. We kept things moving and made it to a variety of locations on Folly that were meaningful and sentimental for the couple. We made sure to end up at the north end for a lovely sundowner. Jyl was especially into the blurred look of low light movement, so we had some fun at the end of the session playing tag and twirling in front of the lighthouse.
And true to their style, they ended the night with their favorite local Thai food take-out.
Much of this same romantic, laidback style carried through to their wedding a few months later. I loved celebrating with Collin and Jyl on their special day and can’t wait to see what adventures they have in this next chapter of their lives together!
